Here are some \u2018Tips n Tricks<\/strong>\u2018 around Profitaa application. These information shared here will make your Profitaa experience a superb one;<\/p>\n

Business Units:<\/strong>\u00a0These are \u201cbranches\u201d of your Business. So, you have a Business with more than one branch, in different locations maybe. Profitaa helps you manage these branches uniquely, such that you can totally account for what is happening on each branch independently and also together from the Administrator perspective. At each time, you will see \u201cB. Unit\u201d on a record, it means the \u201cBranch\u201d that transaction took place. Each system user is attached to a Business Unit, and their permission is tied to it, that means they can only work on that Business Unit. Only Users with special permissions can view records of other Business Units.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

The<\/strong>\u00a0\u22ee ellipsis (three vertical dots):<\/strong>\u00a0These is an invitation to explore more options. When it appears on records, either on a page or window, it means there are other options there. It often contains related information.\"\"<\/p>\n

New Record:<\/strong>\u00a0On most pages, you will come across the *NEW red icon on table header. This signify an invitation to create a new record. In the below example, a click on the\u00a0NEW<\/strong>\u00a0highlighted will open the window to create a New Transaction<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Search\/Sort\/Find:<\/strong>\u00a0The search provides a generic and robust facility to either find or sort records. This is often available on each page as most records displayed by default are recent records of about 100. There are various search options to filter your results. When using the Custom Search, remember to tick the option you are searching with, multiple options can be ticked\/used. For example, as shown on the below diagram, in filtering results to \u201cEmma\u201d, the \u201cSearch\u201d beside it has to be ticked. This will display all results relating to \u201cEmma\u201d on the respective page.<\/p>\n
