To record a new location, click the “New” button after you have clicked the “Locations” button on an Asset dashboard. The location recording form is basic and simple; select the location type, department the asset is under, description, if there are barcode\/rfid in the case of items in cabinets and stores, these can be captured too. Same applies for Assets that are trackable with GPS coordinates. Select the arrival date and click “Save”.<\/p>\n
