The most defining part of Projects in Profitaa is the Roadmap design, which offers the facility to defined all stages of the project including budgeting. The hierarchy is Project->Package->Module->Task.

Package: Packages are the immediate hierarchy of a project, this could represent your project major milestones. When you add a new package (click the + sign), you define the budget, start and expected ending date, and set roles too.
Modules: They are subheads of packages, just like package you defined their start and end date, budgets and roles.
Tasks: They are the actual trackable aspects of projects, most of the activities are done here. Tasks are added to project modules, with their roles, start and end dates and budgets. When team member is added to a Task, they have the privilege to give feedback on the tasks and it appears on the user dashboard.
Total Budget: At the top right of the Roadmap page displays the Project Total budget which is a summation of all Packages budgets.
Spent: As resources are used on up project, the total spent goes up, negating the project budget. More details on how resources are used on Project are on the Resources page.
